Authentication Process
Step 01
Selective Sourcing
Runway Fare sources exclusively from established resellers and trusted supply channels within the luxury secondary market.
We do not purchase from private sellers or unverified marketplaces. Each piece is selected based on provenance, condition history and consistency with known authentic construction and design standards.
Step 02
Primary Authentication Review
Each piece undergoes a detailed authentication review prior to being offered for sale.
This process includes close inspection of:
- construction, materials and craftsmanship
- hardware, engravings and brand markings
- stitching, structure and alignment
- serial codes and brand-specific identifiers (where applicable)
- overall consistency with verified manufacturing standards
Pieces are evaluated using established industry reference points and expertise within the luxury resale market.
Step 03
Secondary Authentication & Final Review
Before release, each piece is re-checked for accuracy of description, condition grading and documentation completeness.
Only items that meet all internal standards are approved for release.
Third Party Authentication
Each piece offered by Runway Fare undergoes a thorough authentication process before being listed for sale. In addition to our own assessment, each piece is independently verified by Luxury Authentication Australia, whose team of experienced luxury brand authenticators provide an expert opinion on authenticity. Every purchase includes an independent Certificate of Authenticity for added peace of mind.
Authenticity Commitment
Every piece is carefully inspected and curated prior to sale. If any piece purchased from Runway Fare is proven to be inauthentic, we will provide a full refund in accordance with our returns policy.
